Now there’s the key – “comparable” work. Who makes these comparisons? Why are comparisons necessary at all? The fact is and the Law is that females get equal pay for equal work. Not “comparative” work. So there’s nothing stopping females from becoming underground miners or garbage collectors or sewerage workers or riggers etc. All these occupations are highly paid boys clubs. I never hear females saying there should be equal numbers of male and female garbos. Why aren’t females screaming for equal numbers of men and females in dangerous jobs so that an equal number of females are killed at work every year?
The fact that females earn less than men is testament to the fact that females won’t do overtime (paid or unpaid) like men, and they only work in nice clean airconditioned places generally Monday to Friday and they work less than men (eg there are as many part time female workers as full time female workers). If a female works 20 hrs a week should she get the same pay as a man who works 57 hrs a week underground? Feminists say yes because this is Marxist Communism. You may not have realised that Marxist Communism was a resounding disaster and mainly for the average Joe.
