Bravery is the word of the day, as we reflect on the incredible risk a team of Navy Seals took, when they stormed a compound and killed Osama bin Laden.
CBS correspondent Lara Logan, also exhibited bravery when she went on 60 Minutes last night and recounted the story of her brutal attack in Egypt, giving voice to the millions of women who are attacked worldwide.
And, Betty Dukes, the woman who spurred the massive lawsuit against WalMart for gender discrimination, is back at work, while she awaits a ruling from the Supreme Court. Read her story here.
We’ll be back tomorrow with thoughts on a recent report from McKinsey that looks at the impact of women on the economy.

Eileen, I wish I had a “Be brave” reminder sent to me every morning. Because as you point out, some times bravery takes the form of big acts of courage and other times, it’s the little things that matter.
what a fascinating conversation we could create if we would really talk about bravery: like risking to educate girls in third world countries; like talking about the poverty levels in the U.S; like weighing in against bullying behavior on the school yards and in the board rooms;like confronting and forgiving past offenses. The list would be endless.
And sometimes, even getting out of bed to face another day can be an act of bravery. Thanks for getting me to think!
