It’s that time of year: cold and flu season. Did you know almost half of the workers in this country don’t earn paid sick days? People deserve time to recuperate. We need our coworkers to stay home when they’re contagious. And we need our neighbors to keep their children home when they are sick – but they can’t do that if they fear losing their jobs when they’re caring for their kids.
