Leaning In or Out?

Here’s an interesting infographic that touches on some of the issues I cover in Mogul, Mom & Maid: The Balancing Act of the Modern Woman. Are women leaning out when we’d expect them to lean in to their careers? Are the women who are scaling back at work, jumping out or getting pushed? Just how much does family impact work choices? And what can companies do to encourage greater workplace participation rates among working mothers?

Thank you for this post, indeed very interesting. Although iKNOW Politics is a platform focused on women in politics, many critical issues are shown here which are related to some extent to women in politics.

“Individuals can change their mindset about women’s role in society, so women can feel comfortable prioritizing work and family equally.”
“Companies can create workplaces that allow women to participate as fully as possible, while still leaving time to nurture family relationships.”

Change WOMEN to PEOPLE and we’ll have a real game changer for families.
